Dental Clinic Additive Manufacturing Systems.

From research and development of DWS – Digital Wax Systems – was created dfab® an innovative additive manufacturing system that caters to dental clinics in two versions: desktop and chairside. Starting from the intraoral scanning achieves long-term temporary directly next to the dentist’s chair.

Two versions

  • Desktop version

    dfab® desktop is an ultra-fast, desktop size additive manufacturing system fully compatible with the majority of intraoral scanners and open dental CAD/CAM solutions. The compact form factor and the affordable price makes dfab® desktop the ideal rapid manufacturing solution for dental clinics.

  • Chairside version

    dfab® chairside is an all-in solution which integrates a personal computer and a touch-screen visual display. dfab® chairside is the perfect companion of any intraoral scanning unit, giving the full power of instant-manufacturing of high quality temporary restorations during a single appointment.

 

DPRS Process

DWS innovative DPRS® Digital Provisional Restoration System® consists of dfab®, a patented 3D Additive Manufacturing system and TEMPORIS®, a class IIA light curable material range for the fabrication of long-term temporary crowns and bridges.

Digitalwax® 008D

DESCRIPTION

Entry-level system for crowns and bridges.

With its unbeatable price-performance ratio and the lowest running cost on the market, DigitalWax® 008D is the perfect choice for small dental labs with low volume production needs. DigitalWax® 008D can build up to 14 crowns per day (24 hours) or 6 three-element bridges per day (24 hours).

IN DEPTH

The building process is based on a stereolithography principle, where a special laser light selectively hardens a photosensitive material. The BluEdge® laser is specifically developed by DWS to guarantee high performance and long life. Thanks to layer-by-layer forming technology, there are no limits to the geometric complexity of the objects: undercuts, cavities, thin surfaces and complex shapes can be created without any difficulty. A complete range of proprietary materials is available for the production of direct castable patterns and biocompatible provisional restorations.

The TTT System (Tank Translation Technology) consists of an electromechanical device that automatically shifts the resin tank during the growing of the model: it allows to reduce the localized wear of the tank caused by the laser beam irradiation through the same area, improving both the life of the resin tank and the efficiency of the building process.

In combination with a new generation of intraoral scanner systems, DigitalWax® 030D is the perfect solution for the mass production of digital impression models, delivering the highest accuracy and surface quality for a perfect replacement of the conventional physical impressions. The right physical and visual properties are guaranteed by the new RD material series, specifically developed by DWS for digital impression SLA printing. The great flexibility of the DigitalWax® 030D also allows the production of lost wax casting products, such as crowns, bridges and partial frameworks thanks to simple quick material change. Thanks to its long-term experience, DWS has developed the RF series of photocurable resins for direct casting of dental parts, which includes three different solutions for a full coverage of the casting applications.
