Mention of Honor for XFAB at Compasso d’Oro Award!

At Castello Sforzesco in Milan, XFAB was rewarded with the Mention of Honor at the ceremony for the prestigious Compasso d’Oro by ADI Design, the most eminent award for the Italian industrial design established in 1954.

1.200 selected products were included on the preselection for the Compasso d’Oro, best known as “the Nobel of the Design”, 283 of them have been evaluated by an international jury, which has elected the 16 winners and the 56 Mentions of Honor. The reward has been withdrawn by Renzo Busato, Mechanical Engineer and XFAB designer.

The objects rewarded with Compasso d’Oro and Mention of Honor join the Compasso D’Oro ADI Collection, declared as “heritage of exceptional artistic and historical interest” by the Ministry of Culture on 22nd April 2004.

After the ceremony, the exhibit with all the rewarded products has been inaugurated and will be open for visiting until June 26th.
